Making Money While Away From Poker Postings

Date: Thu, Mar 6, 2008 Internet

I was away and did not catch some time to follow on with some posts here. Have been busy with other areas on a few other sites that i am having and also spending some time on the online felt. It is official now that i have finally reached three figures on one of the many poker rooms i played at.

It happened so fast, i'm not sure if i remember the sequence to how it happened. Bear in mind it started from zero figure.

All of a sudden, it just came that the reason the final table is so alluring and why everybody is always talking about the final table. You heard it in the tour and you hear it everywhere. But i thought it was over sensationalised. Final table is where the money is. Nobody would bother if you win yourself multiples of $10, $20, $30 or more. Not for me now at least. Final table is where you get the Big chunk.

If it is not hard enough fending off hundreds and thousands of players, you need to be the only one. The one to win it all. Unlike that, in ring games you have to be sneaky and literally put your hands in other players' pockets, grab their money, take it out and put it in your own pocket.

BackgammonMasters Have Poker

Date: Fri, Feb 22, 2008 Internet

Before, it was mentioned they have backgammon for online games. Now, BackgammonMasters does offer poker games in the form of Texas Holdem Poker. As you look into their game lobby, you can find poker as one of the other games that were offered. At the time of writing, there are no players spotted playing poker there. Players that you can find available are mostly in backgammon games.

The plan in the pipeline as heard was its multi player Texas Holdem Poker platform will be integrated into remote gaming terminals targeting remote gaming markets. This will be done for betting terminals in coffee shops, bars and other entertainment hotspots. How they intend to make this a realisation, i do not know.

I believe how it works is that, potential players will have the option of swiping their credit card for instant play. They will be able to create an account and access their poker account anywhere along those terminals. They will be able to perform several transactions, just like using computers to do it at home, only now they will be using the terminal touch screens.

It seems the site has big plans and intends to have something similar to most online poker sites these days, where there are casino games as well as poker games.

How Does Click2Pay Works

Date: Fri, Feb 22, 2008 Internet

Click2Pay is a third party method for depositing and cashing out from online poker sites. It is a new method which is getting more popular. It support many countries only not US registrants. It has an easily identifiable logo and you can see if a poker room support Click2Pay just by looking for their name. To get started, just fill up your personal details by clicking 'join now' at the top left of their navigation bar. Just choose to use your credit card as the payment method and you are good to go.

You will receive a call shortly after. You will hear a british accent voice talking to you for verification of your Click2Pay account. Once you answered the necessary questions, your account will be activated and can start on making deposits to your favourite online poker rooms.

Your deposits will go through instantly in under a minute. You don't have to transfer the money to make sure you have enough in your Click2Pay account. You just have to go to your poker room and make a deposit instantly (this is only if you already have a Click2Pay account). Well i prefer to create an account first before going to the poker room. But you can do the same from your poker sites as you will be redirected.

One point worth taking note is not to leave any money in Click2Pay account as you never know what will happen to them.

Date: Fri, Feb 22, 2008 Internet

AskMen.com has recently compiled Top99 most desirable women in 2008 and a WPT poker hostess has make the cut. Ranked 33 from over 5 million votes, she managed to represent poker among the many actresses and models with the likes of Ali Larter from Heroes, Natalie Portman from Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium and many more others. It was fun seeing the pages marinated with comments from readers on the women they like.

BackgammonMasters Game Lobby

Date: Tue, Feb 19, 2008 Internet

The only connection that probably relates a game of backgammon and poker could most best be represented by Danish profesional poker player, Gus Hansen. He is one of the most feared poker players due to his aggressive style and known to have brought in his experiences from backgammon to his poker games.

BackgammonMasters would want to offer similar opportunities for playing online backgammon to players. It had just revamped its game lobby design and added several casino games together with the ever popular blackjack game. It seeks to cater to online players that plays casino games and would have similar interest to playing backgammon.

The most closest relation to poker since their integration of casino systems is blackjack. A blackjack game may not match the intense game of poker, it does have its own basic rules that a player can learn to apply. It is a simple game. Perhaps a simple analogy would be to equate it with draw poker as you are basically drawing cards.

Although the number of players there would not equal most online poker rooms elsewhere, it does offer several attractive freerolls for backgammon games that beginners can try. And if all else fails, it is just a freeroll game.

It Is An Auspicious Day

Date: Thu, Feb 7, 2008 Internet

On a certain day on a certain year, certain people of relatives and families receive a small red packet. You will be hearing firecrackers sounds creeping through every crack and corner of your room. Conversations getting louder. Laughters merrily sweeps through your left ear and out the right. There will be shouting. There will be screaming. It just won't stop.

You will see people all dressed in new clothes particularly red in color. You see old people. You see young people. And you see people between old and young. What am i talking about? It is the auspicious day of the year and it is Chinese New Year. Happy Chinese New Year 2008!

The Return Of My Postings

Date: Wed, Feb 6, 2008 Internet

Yes, i know it's been a while. Finally able to catch up with my drinking sessions after a long dry spell last year. When the opportunity comes, i took it and drank as much as i could and still be safe for driving back home although i really really want to empty the restaurant's whole beer kegs. I suspect they don't have much beer content. Somehow, not sure why i ended up falling sick two days later.

That aside, have been quite busy with developments elsewhere. Some of the online guys might have already know. Nosy bastards! To those whom i made agreements with, i hope you keep your promises. The rest of the readers, just stick here, it is probably the better place to be.

Filipino Poker Tour

Date: Sat, Jan 26, 2008 Internet

Some nose sniffing around caught me great pleasure to know that there is something going on at the Asia Pacific region. In actuality i've been following on this ever since the last APPT. I can't deny the fact that Phlippines indeed have an affinity towards poker. It seems to be growing non-stop.

Building on the previous APPT, Phlippines now have Filipino Poker Tour which started yesterday on Jan 26. And they are partnering with PokerStars to make this a success. This tournament which will take 2 days will be at their very own card club, Metro Card Club. It even has its own website. Very cool.

Why am i featuring it here is because they are doing so well, i think it is something that needs to be look up to. I do not really know any of the players from there or am affiliated with them. It is the sentiments that something is happening at this region that is good to hear. Sooner or later the whole world will get to know about poker more better than they really are.

Poker Postings Listed On Blogged

Date: Mon, Jan 21, 2008 Internet

Something you may need to know is that the color of the main post is gone. It has become white in color now and will need some adjusting for the eyes. The coding doesn't give any effect at all.

From getting whitewashed to being listed on a blog directory might not sound like a turn of events on the felt. But it seems to be a good thing. Getting listed in a blog directory means getting noticed by a few extra eyeballs. The best part is i did not request it myself.

Blogged.com is one of the blog directories that got my attention from a recent visitor. It came across as a neat and easy to navigate site. It is not just another boring links in their relevant categories but include screenshots and rankings to the site as well. This is one of the places you should consider submitting your blog into if you just started out.

In the meantime, my hit counts been increasing and so does subscribers. Statistics says, 43.64% are returning visitors. Thank you for coming back. I hope you had a great weekends and enjoyed following Aussie Millions 2008 if any of you.
