There’s Stiff Competition For Gamblers

As the economy slumps even further American businesses, of all types, are competing for your patronage, especially those businesses that depend on consumer's discretionary income.

Unemployment and high prices for necessities such as food and fuel have reduced the average American's discretionary income and this affects the amount of funds flowing into the State's treasuries.

One way of increasing a State's income is to increase its share of its casino take, or, as in the case of Ohio, to finally allow casino gambling.

Missouri will be voting on measures to up casino revenues in several ways, and Ohio may very well join the growing list of states that offer casino gambling.

What does this mean to the gambler? It means that there will be better deals for you among the ever increasing number of casinos looking for your gambling dollar. Check around before deciding to visit a casino and see if there's a better offer to be had.

I pulled into Vegas around 3 p.m.  Had things to pick up at the old digs and had to see my buddy Riot.  He had a tiz because he couldn’t come to grandmom’s today.  I made the new digs by around 6 and managed to get level, unhitched, hooked up, and I’m not even crawling.  [...]

Cheating

Date: Tue, Aug 12, 2008 Internet

One of the stories about world-class sports competitions, such as the Olympics, is the prevalence of performance-enhancing drugs. To me, discussion around drugs is silly. There are many people who scream at the top of mountaintops in a self-righteous holier-than-thou fashion that performance-enhancing drugs taint the sport(s). I have never taken performance-enhancing drugs, not that I competed
