After breaking even for the first 2 weeks, I still managed to end up +170BB for this month. I made an extra $5 playing $0.25/$0.50 and $6 from a freeroll. All in all, not a bad month.
I also entered into a collaborative effort with another player I know from ITH. Once a week, we both play a session of one hour while the other one rails and provides suggestions. I must say, I really enjoy these sessions and they have already helped my game.
My plans for the future are to continue building my bankroll up to the point where I can move up to $1/$2. I am also going to use a more conservative bankroll strategy there, 600BB instead of 500BB. This means I need $1200 to step up.

This month has been very good, running +4BB/100 hands on average. I almost exclusively played 6-max the month. $0.25/$0.50 6-max is actually more profitable than $0.50/$1 FR, the higher winning rate and the fact that you play much more hand per hour equals to more profit per hour. Last week I started to move up to $0.50/$1 6-max since my bankroll now supports that limit. I also feel like I have made excellent progress developing my game.

April results. I am still in between limits. I tried some $1/$2 but variance forced me to abandon that venture. I still managed to increase my bankroll to $291 although it was $390 at some point. I have decided to adopt stricter bankroll requirement rules. I need 300BB for FR and 500B for 6-max. This makes me bankrolled to play $0.25/$0.50 6max and almost $0.50/$1 FR.
I will also be trying to play without PokerOffice for a while. I find that I am keeping score and my game deteriorates by looking too much at short term results. I will need to pay more attention and take more notes about my opponents but that will only improve my game. I will still use PO to review my hands but I won't use the HUD functionality anymore.
I've also started to play more 6-Max. I think I need to focus a lot on preflop strategy here since 23/12 is a bit too tight/passive. Difficulty is how to adjust to the extreme loose players inhabiting the tables at which I play.

March results. Some ups and some downs, nothing unusual. Played no MTT's but started to play 7 card stud hi/lo. I am also moving up to $0.5/$1 (Limit FR).

I am in the process of moving up to $0.5/$1. This is going to take some time since the play is much more aggressive than on $0.25/$0.50. I also need to get used to the larger sums of money. I had one bad session on $0.5/$1 which accounts for a loss of 50BB.

Tourneys
I played not tourneys whatsoever.
February results. I managed to increase my bankroll by about 65% which is a very good result. It has been an eventful month with big winning streaks as well as big losing streaks. My main focus has been playing LHE $0.25/$0.50 FR to build my bankroll. I've also started playing MTT's.
Current Bankroll (1 March 2007): $164
Cash games
I managed to win 140BB in about 7000 hands. This means I am running about 2BB/100 hands which is a normal, healthy winning rate. I've been lucky on some occasions but also very unlucky on other occasions. I have the feeling I can achieve a winning rate better than 2BB/100 but that's just speculation.

Tourneys
I played turbo MTT's with a buy-in of $0.10 almost exclusively. I played 40 of these, cashed in 8 (no big cashes), winning about $2.30. One thing to note is that a lot of these were before I read Harrington 1 & 2. I still find these micro buy-in turbos excellent to gain experience.
Detailed results(February)
Tourneys: 40
Buy-ins cost: $4.00
Cashes: 8
Won: $2.30
Net result: -$1.70
ROI: 57.5%
I also have about $34 left at Party and have decided to use that to play $1 buy-in tournaments. Since $30 is not a proper bankroll for playing $1 buy-in tourneys, playing these will be some kind of a gamble. I may lose the $34 but if I can get more than my fair share of luck, I may be able to expand my bankroll there.

In this blog I will be recording my achievements playing poker.
I have been playing poker online for about 5 months now. The last few months I have been playing limit hold'em full-ring almost exclusively. The last few weeks I have been expanding my game selection a bit. I occasionally play some 6max tables and some turbo-MTT's. My main focus however will be full-ring limit for the immediate future since my edge is biggest there.
My bankroll at the moment is $88. I had a bankroll of $230 on party but decided to cash out $200 to pay for some books I have bought and will buy. I made a $50 deposit (with the ITH bonus offer) on Stars and am in the process of building it up.
My goals for the near future. My main focus will be on improving my game and having fun while playing. Making money will be a nice side-effect but I won't lose sleep over breaking even.
I will be making a new post here every month to report on my progress. Current Bankroll (1 February 2007): $101
Cash games
At the moment I am playing limit FR $0.25/$0.50. My bankroll doesn't really support this limit so no reason to step up for the moment. If I start running bad I will step down to $0.10/$0.20. Hopefully my bankroll will grow allowing me to move to $0.50/$1 in the near future.
I also play shorthanded $0.05/$0.10. This is not for bankroll development but more for educational purposes. There may come a time when I will make these 6max games my main focus but that won't be any time soon.
And to conclude I also play some FR $0.02/$0.04 as a role-playing exercise. I play very loose and aggressive preflop but intelligent postflop (at least I try to). These experiences will certainly improve my game. It is also a good way to blow off some steam and it's just fun to play like an idiot and see your opponents 'adjusting' and play even worse.
Tourneys
I recently started to play some MMTs. Realizing I am not very good at these I decided to start with very low buy-in tourneys. Stars have $0.10 turbo MMTs where they add $50 to the prize pool. These are excellent to start and gain some experience. Obviously, I cannot expect to make much profit at these. If I get proficient at these I may try some higher buy-in tourneys (if my bankroll allows it).
Books
I have read several books and intend to read many more. I also want to re-read some of the better books I have. The problem is that I am usually unable to re-read anything I read before (I get bored very easily), instead I will re-read interesting parts of these book.
Already read:
